Medium data structure and algorithm practice puzzle.
Given a point from -1 to 1 on each axis, plus a screen width and height, return its pixel position, rounded to 2 decimals. For x, -1 is the left edge and 1 is the right edge, so it's (x + 1) / 2 x width. For y, 1 is the top, because screens count pixels down from the top, so it's (1 - y) / 2 x height. The center (0, 0) lands in the middle of the screen.
Solve it three ways: snap the jigsaw pieces together, fill in the blanks, or type it from scratch against the tests. This one is free.
Every line of the solution comes with a note explaining why it is there, and a step by step replay shows the code running. At level 3, where you type it yourself, you can ask for an AI mock interview on this problem that ends with a hiring manager's scorecard.
Then grow it into a real project with the Software Engineer button: this puzzle becomes the Frame Smoothing Rig, a pipeline you can run and download. See every Software Engineer project.
